How to Create Services and Assign Dishes to Labels
Tutorial on creating and configuring service schedules and assigning dishes to electronic labels
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create and configure service schedules in the electronic labeling system, plus how to assign dishes to these labels for proper display.
Instructions
- Log in to your account at the CMS platform.
- Navigate to the Restaurants tab.
- Click the Schedules button (represented by a clock icon).
- Click the Add Schedule button.
- Configure the schedule with these options:
- Name: Use a descriptive identifier (e.g., “Monday Breakfast”)
- Code: Assign a short code like initials (e.g., “MB”) to indicate which schedule publishes on labels
- Days: Select applicable days of the week
- Start Date: Set the effective date
- Start Time: Specify when the schedule begins
- End Time: Specify when it stops displaying
- Schedule Type: Choose weekly, biweekly, or custom repetition based on your rotation
- After creating the schedule, click the Link Labels button.
- Click the Assign Recipe button to assign dishes to each label within the schedule.
- Search for and select the desired dish.
