Notification Setup
How to configure and send notifications through the content backend
In this guide, we will show you how to configure notifications in the content backend.
Steps
- Go to the left-side menu and navigate to Notifications.
- Click on CREATE NEW NOTIFICATION.
- Internal Reference field: This is not the notification title. What you enter here will not be visible to the client.
- Delivery Type: Specify when the notification will be sent:
- Send Now: Instant delivery.
- Schedule: Set a start date and time for the notification to be sent.
- Automate: Set a start date, an end date, and automation rules. For example: 2 hours after check-out.
- Additional Channel Differences:
- Push: The client receives it as a pop-up within the app.
- Email: The client receives it via email.
- Campaign Type: Choose how the notification will appear in the app:
- Invasive Pop-Up: The notification will appear as a pop-up.
- Silent: The notification will appear in the “News” section (bell icon) in the top right corner without being intrusive.
- Select the notification template that best fits the type of message you want to send.
- Choose recipients: You can segment by meal plan or room type.
- Set the notification title.
- Write the notification message.
