Survey Configuration

Complete guide to creating and configuring customer surveys with departments and questions

To set up customer surveys in Hoteligy, navigate to the left-side menu and select Customer Surveys / Questionnaires, then click CREATE QUESTIONNAIRE.

General Tab Configuration

Fill in these key fields:

  • Title: The questionnaire header.
  • Emails: Recipients for customer feedback.
  • Comments per question: Auto-displays comment box regardless of rating.
  • Send email: Conditions for email delivery (e.g., ratings of 3 or below).
  • Comments by rating: Shows comment box only when specific conditions are met.
  • Share in chain: Enables sharing questionnaires across multiple hotels.

Additional Configuration Sections

User Fields Tab: Collect customer personal information like room number and phone number.

Image Tab: Attach an image to the questionnaire.

Custom Value Tab: Modify rating scale settings, such as scoring increments.

Creating Departments and Questions

Click CREATE DEPARTMENTS to organize questions by department for interdepartmental analysis. Then select ADD QUESTION to add survey questions.

In the General tab, input different language translations. The Response Settings tab allows customization of response types:

  • Boolean: Binary true/false values.
  • Plain text: Simple comment boxes.

Select the relevant department and click the green Save button to complete.
