Instructions for Forcing Manual PMS Synchronization
How to manually force a PMS data synchronization when errors or sync issues occur with reservation data.
When to Use This Option?
When errors or synchronization issues occur with PMS data, it is possible to perform a manual synchronization while the issue is being investigated and resolved.
Steps to Force Manual Synchronization
1. Log in to the CMS
- Sign in to the CMS with your administrator or authorized user credentials.
- Make sure you have the necessary permissions to access the PMS integration module.
2. Go to the PMS Integration Section
- From the side menu, find and click on “PMS Integration”.
- If you do not see this option, it means your user does not have access to the integration section.
- Contact the systems team or a supervisor to enable access.
3. Access Received Data
- Inside the integration section, select “Received Data”.
4. Synchronize Reservations
- In the upper left corner of the screen, you should see a button labeled “Synchronize Reservations”.
- If the button does not appear, there are two possible reasons:
- The connected PMS does not support manual synchronization.
- Your user does not have sufficient permissions to perform synchronization.
5. Execute the Synchronization
- Click the “Synchronize Reservations” button.
- The system will make a call to the PMS to download all updated reservations.
6. Verification
- Once synchronization is complete, check that the data has been correctly updated.
- If errors persist or the information is still outdated, contact technical support.
Important Notes
- Not all PMS systems support this functionality. If the “Synchronize Reservations” button is not visible, it is likely that the connected PMS does not allow it.
- User Permissions: Not all users have access to the integration section. If the option is not available in the side menu, contact the systems team or a supervisor to enable access.
